Each fall all St. Vincent Medical Center employees are given an opportunity to participate in the Associate Giving Campaign which raises funds to support projects that benefit patients, guests and those in need from the surrounding community.  Since its inception in 2001, more than $300,000 has been raised from the associate campaign.

Through the 2007 campaign alone, more than $50,000 was raised to support:

• We Care Fund which provides support for services for patients with limited resources
• Community Mammography Program which affordable breast cancer screening and education for a local community
• Hospitality pages which are onsite pagers that provide patients and their families reassurance that they can be contacted when needed
• Casa de Amigos After School food program which provides a nutritious meal for at-risk children and teen in our surrounding neighborhood.
