I can only make a small gift at this time. Will it still make an impact?
Every gift makes a difference. The cumulative effect of several small gifts can be very significant in helping to fund vital community outreach programs, support continuing education for our clinical staff or purchase new equipment.
How do I make a memorial gift?
You can designate your gift in memory or in honor of a special person by selecting Honor/Memorial box in step 1 of our Donation Form. You may request a supply of pre-addressed donation envelopes via e-mail to svmcfoundation@dochs.org. Or call (213) 484-7209.
Will I receive a thank-you note for my gift?
Yes. Our Foundation acknowledges all donations with a thank you letter that includes our tax-exempt number.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. St. Vincent Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit and gifts are deductible on federal tax returns subject to the limits allowed by the Internal Revenue Service (see IRS Code 170). A copy of the letter documenting tax-exempt status is available from the Foundation.
